1001 Inventions exhibition reaches NYC
What is the secret behind the way we write numbers? When did scientists first discover how we see? Who drew the oldest surviving map showing America?
These questions are tackled in the exhibition 1001 Inventions: discover the Muslim heritage in our world for which I wrote the text. The exhibition is currently in New York after its launch at the Science Museum and run in Istanbul, and was described by local site The Root as ‘a fun, splashy, fascinating exhibit’.
